anyone know a quick way to turn png's into jpegs?

ow and anyone in budapest?

On Linux? Use "pngtopnm" then "pnmtojpeg" (from within a shell script if you have a lot of files to convert). These utilities are both present in a default install of Fedora.

The convert utility from ImageMagick can be used as well:
