I did some searching but couldn't find and relevant threads, so I thought i'd start a one for the app, fuelpad.

I've been using it for about one month now, and absolutly love the software. Today I noticed there was another update for it, but I couldn't find and info on any of the relevant sites regarding it. Is the designer of this software on these forums? I'd love to give some feedback on the software.

TIA!!!

If you have their webpage on Garage you can contact the developer(s) there.

Hello,

I am the developer and I read this forum every now and then. As noted in another comment, fuelpad is hosted in the maemo garage. garage is the best way to contact me since I get an email for every feature request and bug report. You can contact me by email also. You should be able to find my address quite easily.

Recently I have been working on getting fuelpad to extras repository. It is now in extras-devel (version 0.61) but I have not made an official announcement nor have I promoted it to extras since I haven't managed to get the extras autobuilder to compile localizations ok. This only affects my fellow Finnish people, the default English works fine.

Thanks for your kind words about fuelpad.

Julius

I have released version 0.70 of fuelpad. You can find it either in garage home page or in extras-devel repository. The official announcement is here: https://garage.maemo.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=3345

I have also added a new screenshot of the main window: https://garage.maemo.org/frs/downloa...-0.70-main.png

Happy new economical driving year!

Just installed Fuelpad tonight, and it looks really great.

One request though. Could a cost/distance column be added please. With the way fuel prices have fluctuated here in the UK over the last year or 2, and I presume everywhere else, this would prove helpful, and informative.

Thanks

Gaz

I've been thinking about this and it is certainly possible to be added. Thanks for your suggestion.

Fuelpad 0.70 is now available in Maemo extras repository and in the maemo.org downloads section http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/fuelpad/.

I have also the next version quite near the release.

I just noticed a critical bug in reminder event editing. Editing an event puts the database in such a state that you can't start Fuelpad any more. If you think that you have corrupted your database in such a way, you can send the database file to me and I can fix it manually. The default database location is /home/user/MyDocs/fuelpad.db. In File manager, this is the root directory.

Before I'll have the time to fix this, please do not edit reminders with version 0.80 (0.70 and before work)!
