hey everyone, first time posting.

i have an old fujitsu B series lifebook laying around that i'm going to mod into a tablet. I want to run linux on it. Any suggestions on a distro?

my main question is i'm wondering if anyone knows of a linux interface that can make everything neat and organized like Canola for the ITs but for more than just multimedia purposes. does such an interface exist? my ideal set up would be to turn it on and have it boot straight into the interface with all the options i would use (internet, multimedia, office, etc.) is there any form of Canola that can do this?

sorry if this is a really dumb question, but i'm new to this.

Try looking at Ubuntu Netbook Remix, or Ubuntu Mobile Edition.
