Does anyone know how to use this and would it perhaps help to get around the current problem in OS2006 where we are unable to open video and audio http: streams directly in provided Audio and Video players because something is dropping a / from http://... so it becomes http:/... and will not always work?
Note osso xterm now Version 0.13.mh3, Hmmm perhaps I do not have the latest version of xterm installed will check later today.
How would one add params to our URL's in xterm to open provided OR alternatively installed Video or Audio players directly with the provided URL?

PS there is a bug logged in bugzilla for the well hidden from casual user http:// to http:/ problem, i.e. https://maemo.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=509
What's with Bugzilla and what does "Bug reported to upstream maintainer" actually indicate in relation to a resolution i.e Timescale!
