My N810 is running slowly and I was wondering if I have to many things running in the back ground.

Below are my running processes with only applets, terminal, and tool bar running.

1836 user RW 1960 1834 1.3 1.5 top
1203 user SW< 53512 1121 0.7 42.1 maemo-launcher
1833 user SW 36088 1121 0.7 28.4 maemo-launcher
925 root SW< 10452 356 0.3 8.2 Xomap
852 haldaemon SW 3988 1 0.1 3.1 hald
845 messagebus SW< 2312 356 0.1 1.8 dbus-daemon
1806 user SW 68228 1541 0.0 53.7 browserd
1541 user SW 40644 1 0.0 32.0 browserd
1151 user SW< 31656 1121 0.0 24.9 maemo-launcher
1339 user SW< 23328 1121 0.0 18.3 maemo-launcher
1121 user SW< 21280 1 0.0 16.7 maemo-launcher
1370 systemui SW< 17004 356 0.0 13.3 systemui
1470 user SWN 16656 356 0.0 13.1 metalayer-crawl

Does this seem normal or excessive?

Thanks

Steve

I sometimes find that if I've been browsing something big (maybe a page with lots of big images, embedded video etc) and then close down (because browser is being too slow) I find I have a browserd still running which is very large, taking up memory (at least as reported by listing processes.) sometimes just killing it and letting it respawn when I launch a new browser is good enough. Sometimes I find a healthy reboot to ensure things are cleared up is better.
