somehow i get connected, full powered signal, yet i can't do anything.
The Wireless Network portal will not appear


what about NYU network
suggestions?!

That park wifi is sponsored by Nokia and I have never had any success in getting it to work. Not once.

For NYU assuming you are an NYU student or staff use vpnc on NYU-ROAM

The NYC parks WiFi was abandoned sometime ago. As I recall, the vendor claimed that $300K or something like that wasn't enough to keep it going...

but the signal of parkwifi is ON. so what gives?

The APs are still there but no backhaul?
