G'day!!

This is my first, and for once, I will nnnnooootttt introduce myself.

Anyways, I've been saving for a mobile internet device or an internet media tablet, sure, all these cool words, but honestly, which is the best?

I've recently "enjoyed" some financial trouble and I'm broke-ish. In July I'll be up to 600 dollars, and that's when I want to buy my new tablet. I want this as an MP3 player, browser, and basically everything else, y'know, like an MID?

Anyways, here's what my research has shown me:
Sorted by appealing-ness.
1. NVIDIA Tegra 650 MID, somewhere over 200, seems too good to be true.
2. GiiNii Movit - Cheap, not really worth it, but only 150 and runs Android.
3. Archos 5, 500GB - This one's got a harddrive and flash, but it's like a dollar per gigabyte if you catch my drift (I don't know how you couldn't)

Anyways, the NVIDIA at this moment is my #1 choice, but I'd like to know what the *best* is out there, and by July.

Sincerely,
TedM

PS: I know that the *best* is not easily determined, because of "uses" and all that, but I'm just looking for the most awesomest. I'd like Touch screen, preferably capacitive. Well tell me what you've found in your life.

On second thought, Viliv's S5 is pretty amazing. It might be worth waiting another month for a bigger paycheck to get THAT!

UMPCportal has every mid/umpc thats available, and whats on the horizon.. and for my money the only pocketable one's worth purchasing right now are N8x0's and the Sony UX's, depending on what your needs are..
The Viliv does look good though, but noone really has one yet to give a definitive answer.

PS- Check the competitor section on this forum for some other MID's as well.. this thread probably shouldve went there.

Touch Book looks great, but it's too big.
The Viliv seems smartest for me at the moment with the 4.8" screen, but that takes away any hope of an "MP3 Player" to replace my darned iPod.

If we're discussing devices not yet on the market, I'd look at the RX-51, which should be out (or at least announced publicly) by July.

No they won't. Tegra 650 is the name of the platform, not the device.
