I have a crappy little phone, the LG Flare, as I use Virgin Mobile. I'm not a big phone talker, so for $20 a month, my god is it a steal for what I do with a phone (not much!)

So,VM likes to lock down the firmware of their phones. A data cable will be useless to me. But, it supports headset, hands free, and Phone Book Access. So, is there an app or something I can slap on my trusty 810 to grab the phonebook off it? My life experience with Bluetooth is I got my phone and my 810 to pair. I have NEVER used any Bluetooth devices ever, not even an earpiece, so I have zero experience with BT in specific, although I have had a long life in IT, so I'm not quite a dolt, just a BT noob.

Thanks!

EDIT: BTW, I mean Info Tech, not Internet Tablets, when I say IT. I just realized the latter abbrev used for the tablets might be misconstrued.

Does the phone have a 'contacts' selection or similar? In those, it's often possible to select 'send contacts' or something similar (and hopefully there's an option to send all, not just one).

Then, if there's also an option for sending through Bluetooth, select that. Make sure that bluetooth is enabled on your N810, and that it's set to 'visible' (can be done from that little bluetooth icon in the status bar). If your phone can send the contacts via bluetooth you should see your N810 in the list of destinations.

When sending, your N810 will pop up a message about accepting the file. If everything goes OK there'll be a file somewhere on your N810. When sending from an S-E phone or a Palm PDA that file will be a file in 'vcard' format, but it could be just about anything.
