Stupid question, but isn't /media/mmc1 the external memory card on the n810?
I suppose I could just try installing it and seeing where the data ends up...
In any case, thanks for the port. Star Castle is great fun, and even the N810's mediocre game controls won't keep it from being a satisfying diversion.

Have you tired the flash version? Works fine, although controls make the game super hard. Or maybe i just suck.
Just search Star Castle on google, its the second link. You can download the SWF and play it locally with the browser or KMplayer.

Star Castle.
This N810 only port (for now, I am continuing to work on it, there is a lot I want to change, but it took me all last night just to get it working this far...)
DPAD turns(left and right), center button thrusts, return key shoots. esc quits
Full screen only at this point, this is one of the changes I want to make..
download the tar from my website : http://www.n8ftl.com/maemo
It installs exe to /usr/share/games and the data to /media/mmc1/share/xsc (tar-xzvf starcastle-armel.tar.gz)
Enjoy! -John
