Live Maps is better than Google maps for my region, especially with birds-eye view. But their detail is a bit more compared to GM.

Oh they now named it Bing cause of MS's new search engine - grrrrr. Anyway, it'd be great to be able to download tiles for a region. I heard Maemo Mapper doesn't always get Google Maps tiles unless you go to a certain URL (which seems to be changing as they want to prevent tile ripping?) -- so... what options do I have? Hell I couldn't figure out how to get satellite maps in Maemo Mapper anyway.

Actually I found Maemo Mapper can do this, I just didn't know the Map Repositories was the place to go to in the menu, I figured it'd be more straightforward like "Map Providers".

So my next question - I wonder when they'll implement directions based on Google/Live Maps?
