I have a 16GB SD card in my phone that I have most of my music library on. Using File manager I can browse the card and play files on my IT over bluetooth. Is there a way to have Canola see this drive so that I don't have to have music in 2 places? I was able to see the phone as a UPNP server, but that's over WiFi which kills the battery on the phone, and only works if there's a network available (haven't tried ad-hock networks, though). I also tried creating a symlink, but got "command not found" and I'm not sure what I want can be done this way, anyway.

This really isn't too big of a problem (the phone is right next to the tablet most of the time), but I like having the voice directions from maps routed through the stereo, and it seems like it shouldn't be as hard as it is.

Canola would need to gain GnomeVFS support. I don't know enough about Canola to say if such support could be added via a plugin.

An ad-hoc network is likely your best bet for now.

I got around to setting up ad hoc networks on the n95 and n810 tonight. Seems painfully slow compared to having an AP between them. Is this due to the ad hoc being an 802.11b network?
