On both my and my GFs PC Windows XP says "USB Device Not Recognized" when I try to plug my 770 in to transfer files.

Anyone have this issue? Anyone solve this issue? (Yes, I've rebooted everything)

i have the same issue. i have not found a fix. i posted about it here a few months ago. it's as if the mass storage capability has disappeared. bummer. i just use scp or a shared drive on my pc. i can help with those if you don't know how to do those things.

I have a 512MB RSMMC in there, FAT32 (or whatever the default format is)... it worked last night, this morning it didn't. I *do* have a multi card reader but the plastic on the memory card is broken so I can't use the MMC adapter.

Joshua: Yeah, I figured mounting a share via CIFS would be the way to go except the box I've got ICS running on (I have to use it, I have an internal DSL modem that Linux doesn't support) was being screwy and wouldn't give me an IP.

I hope it's not hardware.

I get this occasionally, but I can't reproduce it. In fact I got it just this morning while trying to x-fer the "sudo sandwich" comic for use as a desktop (no wireless @ work). I just disconnected/reconnected a few times until it worked.

I realize that this doesn't help, but it's not just you and (in at least some cases,) it's not permanent.

That's positive feedback in any case. I tried about 10 times before I was going to be late for work so I gave up. I'll try again tonight.
