just canīt make it works, just need to open the app and wait?, sorry, noob question.

is there a tuto or some advice to get it working?
need maemo maps, mapper or something extra?

You may find http://fragostech.com/MaemoMapper/ helpful. It's a howto for Maemo Mapper and has lots of GPS and related information tip. Let me know if it doesn't meet your needs.
