Hi!

.. and sorry that I couldn't find an answer to my problem with the search, hence this thread. I hope this came to the correct forum.

In my list of subscibed threads there should be a method for selecting threads, for moving or deleting and somesuch, but I cannot select even one single thread in there. Am I just blind or is there some problem with it actually?

thanks and apologies for asking seemingly so stupid Q....

I've just looked and you're right - with the talk.maemo.org or Minimalist themes (from the selector in the bottom-right), there are no tickboxes to select threads in http://talk.maemo.org/subscription.php. One workaround is to choose one of the Classic themes from the selector, when you will see a tickbox in the right-hand column.

Thanks! I was really wondering what was going on. Thank you very much. I need to get used to another theme now but should be lesser problem.

I'm happy you found a workaround, but would you be willing to use the "Report A Forum Bug" link in the right column to report this missing checkbox issue with the default & Minimalist themes to Reggie, the Talk admin?

If you find it to be too much trouble, just say so, and I'll report it for you. I just have this evil plot wherein I try to get people more involved in all aspects of the community, bug reporting included.

Sure, I can do that. At first I thought it was something I was doing wrong so didn't think about bug report at that point. I am still less than a week old in this forum so I reckon I could be a little lost without anything being broken.
I submit the report as soon as I wake up.

And btw, thanks for making an effort to make newbies like me feel welcome. I am glad this got resolved this quickly

Ummm actually could you report it since I don't have account for the Bugzilla. And, if you do, please inform people about another thing, while I changed the theme to Classic Light, I didn't see the "Report A Forum Bug" at all and couldn't find it anywhere until I changed back to the default. Nice to find something new

this, the broken javascripts and a somewhat mangled layout, is what has plagued the minimalism theme ever since the switchover from itt to talk.maemo.org...

btw, i have now reported all the milimalism related bugs i know of into the bugtracker, as i was previously unaware that there was a place for that there...

thanks tso. I am normally no bug hunter so not used to reporting them either
