http://www.n900wallpapers.com is also worth looking at on the wallpapers front.

Extremely encouraging. I was worried Maemo would struggle coming out of the gates without apps but thats no longer a concern now. The thing about the Maemo app store is that most apps on it are sheer quality.

Does anyone know if there is any other twitter client apart from Mauku ?

It's a pure joy to browse through this list. How come they can do something like this for Maemo but failed so miserably when they tried to achieve the very same for the much larger S40/S60-market in Ovi Store? Oh, Nokia...

Speaking of Ovi: Did you notice that the applications that are marked as "From Ovi Store" are also installed via a repository? (https://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/apps/)
This is encouraging. Ovi Store doesn't have a repository-like structure for phones (probably because the phones wouldn't be able to handle it, don't know), and I was afraid a single download from Ovi would be just that: one download, no futher updates.

What we see here is just great. Who is responsible for it? I feel I have to kiss somebody for this perfect work.

Nice to see this. It would be good if the image to the left of each was clickable, to link to the same page as the 'read more' links, as it gives a nice big target to click on.

Oh wow, I wasn't expecting something like eCoach. I had something only 1/4 as good on my Xperia for when I went cycling and was expecting to have to live without it.

Hang on, why is Skype on there? I thought Skype support was built-in?

How about getting the store to support just one device instead of lets say 15 devices and to support multiple languages?

By the way it's worded on the Skype page...

"If Skype is not preloaded on your device, download it from skype.com/m"

It might not come preloaded in *I assume* certain countries?

I'm talking about the UI. Having a decent font(-size/-color) and an inviting screen layout, plus working navigation elements, doesn't depend on the number of appliactions/devices/languages.

(Besides: "language support" is where Ovi fails. You can tell they wanted to implement it but haven't reached any working state yet.)

I keep browsing through the few applications on maemo.nokia.com though i don't even own an N900. Just because t looks so inviting and shouts "Come in, come in! Try this!"...
