I've come up with two concepts (thank to claesbas for the C4D file) based on the maemo.org logo.
The first is a simple fly-in. Camera track is kinda "meh" but it's interesting enough. Needs a sound effect to go with it.
The second (also in black) is a combination of ideas from both timeless and lcuk and requires a little imagination to get the full effect (since I don't have the recorded sound effect I need yet). Basically, picture the sound the N900 (or N810) keyboard makes as it snaps open when the .org pops in and you'll have the idea.
Apologies for the .mov, too lazy to re-encode and that's the only format Cinema 4D spits out on OS X. Have some more ideas forthcoming (might try something like the X fly-over from Leopard).

If someone would make some for the subcommunities (okay, I'm begging for one for Maemo-Freak...), you may be able to pad your Paypal account. Is anyone willing to do custom work?
