Hello Joshua,

Adobe is actively working with Nokia and other smartphone manufacturers to enable rich internet experiences for these devices. Through the Open Screen Project Adobe is committed to provide an environment in which consumers can engage with great content and applications without boundaries from any device, taking advantage of the Adobe® Flash® Player and Adobe AIR® runtimes. Adobe does not itself implement the Flash and AIR runtimes on a particular device; rather the OEM must adopt the runtime and include it on their devices. We recommend that in addition to asking Adobe how to obtain Flash support for your phone, you also ask the manufacturer of your phone.

Regards,

Rachel Simon

So who do I have to ask?

Nokia already has Flash 9.4 and is working on 10.1 for release next year. I don't know about Adobe Air, though.

Maybe if you want to make the desire for these things more visible, and to allow people to vote for them, you could create a Brainstorm idea or two.

Is there any concrete info or date on the flash release?

AIR runtime would be awesome, that would mean viable apps like TweetDeck with little or no porting
