Saw that XBMC has been developed for ARM based processors and OpenGL ES 2.0.

You think we will get to see XBMC on N900 in the future?

This is just me dreaming, but now i see some progress porting XBMC to arm, in this case to the beagleboard wich is the same hardware on the N900.

Its not a fully functional but is a great progress.

here are some links about the progress.

Im asking because XBMC + N900 + TV can be a great combination.

Sorry for my bad english.

I use mythbox with XMBC at home. It is currently a bit buggy(i have had issues with it frequently stopping in the middle of watching a program).
As far as i am aware the Mythbox plugin is just a python script and relies on ffmpeg.

I tried it with Linux Mint and got nowhere. Plus my Asus Falcon TV card wasn't supported. But I'd love a media center like XMBC for the N900. I'd seen something similar I can seem to remember by name, but XMBC looks better, from what I remember. Perfect to manage videos and media.

Engadget seems to have picked up the story of XBMC on ARM as well:
