I want to get a N900 as soon as possible as I have already sold my current phone and the new owner is starting to get impatient due to the most recent delay. I don't really want to buy the phone at the full £500 from nokia's own store, but I don't know when other retailers will get the stock first. Play.com still says pre-orders for the 30th and Amazon still isn't allowing preorders.

I had a pre-order with 'mobile phones direct', but they screwed up my order yesterday and have left me without £450 until their bank transfer goes through, thus I'd rather not have to deal with them again.

Expansys are offering £30 of discount vouchers and a reasonable ship date.

The quickest will, by most claims, be either nokia or MPD. Not sure how/why they screwed up with you.

Amazon UK was taking pre-orders and some of us have them on hold. Their listed date is still 1st December, but it's a practice of theirs to give pessimistic dates and surprise you. (They've done this to me before).

Expansys will probably be at about the same time as Amazon. I wouldn't risk Play.com after their recent issue with people's details getting muddled up.

I don't think anyone in the UK will get it much before the 18th/19th.

MPD told me sim free option should be back in a few days. Probably one of the quickest but not certain they will bring the option back.

Use cashback and get at least 10% (£50) back.
