All you need to enter is the APN. epc.tmobile.com

The phone comes with internet2.voicestream.com, but that is old and outdated.

Go to settings - internet connections - connections - T-Mobile Internet - edit - next - Access Point Name should be "epc.tmobile.com" without the quotes.

Also, you need at least the $24.99 internet plan with TMo.

You guys should put your location in your profiles. Are you talking about TMobileUSA or TMobileUK, or something else?

wap.voicestream.com was working for me as well, though others have reported greater success with epc.tmobile.com as mentioned above.

As for the rate plan, some have said tzones works just fine with this phone (grandfathered). Since tzones is a grandfathered feature, it is no longer available to new subscribers. The equivalent would be phone first web, which is $10 dollars a month.

If you aren't as lucky as the others, then you will in fact need the $24.99 smart phone data feature as mentioned above if you are on a grandfathered plan, or the equivalent smart phone data feature for the new even more/even more plus plans.

IIRC, for If you get an even more plus plan that already has texting, its an additional 20 dollars vs 25 if you only had voice. If I recall correctly for Even More its 30 dollars.

I'm a bit confused - I have 3/3.5G but the APN is set to internet2.voicestream.com . What's the difference between this and epc.tmobile.com ?

I got mine today, too. I was using the $9.99 plan with no problem on my 5800nav, but when I switched the SIM to my n900 none of the APNs work for data. epc, tmobile, and wap all tried w/o success. Any ideas?
