ovi map 1.0 for maemo is way old and bad compare to the ovi map 3.0 for n97, that sucks for n900...

Maps 3.0 is not available for Maemo.
It's called Maps 1.0 because it's the first version of the Maps for Maemo.
If you need a better solution for Maps, wait out on some third party software, or hope that Nokia addresses some issues in a firmware update.
