To all those people who moan about the N900...for God sake...didn't you do you research online? Didn't you spend months looking at all the videos and making sure it's the right device for you?
The iPhone/iPod is am amazing device in its own right, and so is the N900 but for totally different reasons, so please don't use that as a yard stick.

It's taken me a few days (3 to be precise) to fall in love with the device. First I though...."Damn, crappy touchscreen" then you realise it was only down to your own iPod/Phone experiences and you get you to pressing that little bit harder!!

And for those who moan about the lack of Gmail sync....bloody well get yourself an exchange service (nuevesync) and let it sync all you contacts and mail with Google and your phone. It works a treat and I LOVE it.

Thirdly.
Yes, it's hard to sync your music to the N900 from iTunes...but this is NOT a bloody iPod!!! My workaround?
I'm using a Mac so it's that much harder, but just install MediaMonkey in a Parallels VM, populate your library from your iTunes Music directory and then sync to the N900...it WILL sync all music and associated artwork and works a treat.

Finally.
Take your time with the device....you WILL fall in love with it, but learn to love your device...it rocks!

Stop whinging about the device and go and moan about how **** it is on another forum...this is for N900 lovers only!!!!!

Try Sailing Media Sync. It put 20GB of music from my Mac's iTunes library on my N900 and all is good with album art, etc. The only issue I've had with it is malformed playlists (m3u files), as it screws up the file paths.
