we have several n810s and some e71s in use in our small office. While battery life is great, our people are usually out in the field and we would like to have fresh batteries always available.

My plan is to get get about 8 of these:

and glue them to a larger piece of plastic

but I need an electrical person to tell me what I would need to do to wire all 8 of the 2mm chargers together so i only need one wall brick for this monster. The output of the regular single wire brick is 5v/350ma. Would it just be as simple as getting a 5v and 2800ma brick and splicing the wires together or do I need something in-line so no specific charger ever gets the full 2800?

I know there are some people on here who can help me. TIA!

I use one of those same desktop chargers for my spare bp-4L batteries so I can always keep at least one spare charged battery for my N810 with me.

My recommendation would be not to try and splice that many things together. Why not get a "Charging Station".

I use a General Electric 6 outlet Charging Station for all of my devices and usually have at least 4 plugged in each night plus I have the desktop charger plugged into the back to charge my spare battery.

But if you are wanting to use have multpile desktop chargers for the BP-4L battery plugged in at the same time. I saw a shop that had a set up for their Nextel push to talk walkie talkie phones.

It was a large industrial size grounded outlet you might see at a construction site that had two rows of outlets that were spaced pretty far apart and they had external battery chargers plugged into 8 of them so that the drivers to swap out batteries quickly. I believe I have seen those outlets at Home Depo and they do have surge protectors built into them.

Why not the BP-4L charger that has a AC plug built-in?

Combine with the right powerstrip...

Maybe you can find a cheap knock-off of the powersquid powerstrip

EDIT: You can make one: http://www.i-hacked.com/content/view/228/89/
