If you put it in a directory that's indexed by tracker, it has to show up with all the other image files. If you don't want this, just put it somewhere else. What's the problem?

The problem is that it is not intuitive...
Took me a while also to understand why this was happening. I added my mp3 and then suddenly the art work was in my picture app?
There should be a "default folder" for it in settings so it would just pick up the pictures from this folder. And yes, I know about showing the standard folder for camera I just think it is more polished this way.

So I think this is what we need. A UI for tracker. It must not tell users that it's a UI for tracker, because they won't know what tracker is and what is mean by "exclude from indexing". It should refer to media player and image viewer and give some hints like "add directories you want to hide from meida player here".
(An advanced settings dialog should then allow to control all aspects of tracker.)
is it just me?
and the album art dont even show up in the player
