Hi all!
In my network, i must use proxy server, so i need to set proxy for internet connection. In n810, I can specify user name and password in internet connections' advanced option , formatted as "user***@ip", however, in n900, it doesn't work any more. the colon and '@' can't be input. Anyone know why? and is there any other solution?
Thanks !

Sounds like a bug to me. You could file it on https://bugs.maemo.org/

I have the same problem.
I've got my N900 on the work network but I get prompted to enter proxy username/password every time I connect to web.
I think the first time I connected a screen may have flashed up and asked if I want to save this password - I thought I selected yes but maybe not.
Any idea how we can save username and password for http proxy?

Just a shot in the dark here (as I don't currently use a http proxy), but can you just set it in the browser config page somewhere? The built-in browser has an about:config page like on Firefox after all...
