Hi, first of all, feel free to merge or delete the thread if it's already discussed somewhere else. I have a problem with the search engine that's why i can't confirm (i think it's a problem on my firefox...)

I have a problem, there's 2 types of keyboard and i was wondering if every app will run the same on different phone.

If you have an app using the 4 arrow keys, how it's going to work on a 2 arrow keyboard?

I don't understand much of programming but i would like to know if programers are aware of this issue because using the "fn" to go down and up it's not very functional.

Does the apps know that your keyboard is cripple and automatically remap the keys or you need to get stuck with the "fn" button to go up and down?

I was think since i don't understand much (and to remap key for a determinate software i will need to go deep in the code) will it be possible to create 2 downloads: one for UK,US,PL keyboard and another optimised for the others keyboard?

Maybe it's the most stupid question this month but it hit me yesterday and i kept thinking about it... And maybe some apps already come with an option to remap keys and i don't know that.

you can switch keyboards in settings,(hardware keyboard layout- so you can go to uk(all arrows) or vica versa) and i think there is a short cut to do it on the keyboard

thank you mysticrokks, i didn't know that.

But know come another question: is it possible for the app to make that change automatically? that will be really good. And when you close the app, your keyboard settings will be back to the original.

I think it will almost eleminate the issue with the keyboard.
