Is 'Word to Go' a free reader for MS Word attachments? I had been led to believe that this was the case but when I open the program it asks me to register, buy, or trial the app.

If this is so - does anyone know of a free app to read attachments, Word, Excel, etc?

It is not free, but a port of Koffice is in the works (see http://www.koffice.org/news/office-v...ed-on-koffice/ )
I think it's worth the wait

Edit: it's also mentioned here

hi
I think we've to wait for KOffice or OpenOffice release to have a Word/Excel/... reader (and modifier too...), but they're late

Maybe Nokia left "Word to Go" in N900 just to show an application that could do something with Word files, waiting for the ones I've cited above...

Anyway I need such applications a lot...

This looks great, but is there enough application installation space and RAM to run all these apps on the N900?
