ALL CAPS thread titles will not make you any friends here (or anywhere else on the Internet).
We also need a more detailed error report, otherwise it's impossible to help (what exactly were you doing, installing what app how, etc.)

Perhaps the problem is due to your shift and question mark keys being stuck?

thanks for the replys (well some il ignore the others)
@ ForzaHudd - i have looked at the thread, thats not the same problem i am having.

My problem began when i had to reflash my n900, before this i was able to install any applictaion as normal. However since my reflash upon attempting to download and install the same applications, an error message appears, claiming that application packages are missing.

for example, uponn trying to download "bluemaemo" the application packages missing are quoted as :
Application Packages missing: libssl0.9.7
libssl0.9.7
libssl0.9.7
libssl0.9.7
libssl0.9.7
when trying to install "libzeemote-conf" different packages are missing,

Application Packages missing: libbluetooth2(>=3.22)
libbluetooth2(>=3.22)

i get this same message when tryin to install drNokSnes

again any help will be much appreciated, please keep your sarcastis remarks to yourelves you only waste valuable forum space and portray the image that i have come across many others complaining of, an unwelcoming community.

thanks

Thanks for the extra information - the others may have been a little sarcastic, but it's mainly due to being bombarded with some poorly written threads, duplicate threads, caps lock, bad manners etc etc.......

It is really important that you:
  • write clearly - not everyone speaks English as well as others, so the better written, the easier to understand!
  • Be descriptive - When asking for help with a problem, list what you tried to do, when it happened, can you replicate, etc? - it will allow others to respond quickly.
  • Look around... . The same post may not be somewhere else on the forums, but there could be similar ones you can link in.

I have to agree with some of the sarcasm, writing in poor English, with caps is a turn off for some, and just asking for sarcasm from most others.

Bluemaemo is still in the extras-development area i assume? - so it could be a bug you have found. - Andre is the man to be nice to and get help from in that case

What repositories are showing in your Application Manager settings? And are they all enabled?

I have disabled the devel catalogue.....
I have compiled a list of repositories for others to add to, the ones showing are on this thread...

as far it being a bug, before my re-flash i had the same applications succesfully downloaded and working, i think somehow all my lib packages have gone missing.
