Maybe you want to hide behind a proxy server? Then everyone will only see the IP of that proxy.

What do you mean "hide it FROM my n900"? The n900 only see's what you tell it to see? Do you want to hide your wireless SSID from your n900?? Go into your router and disable SSID broadcast..?
I doubt that's what you're asking.. but the question is so extremely vague that answers are useless.
