Am I the only person using an n900 who has the need to enter a task description. I see from my sync log using Nokia pc suite that "task descriptions" sync, there is just no way to view them on the n900.

If there is one reason I will switch back to my palm centro or to a Nokia 1661(the most basic Nokia product I could find that sports task descriptions) is the need to use the To do / task notes.

Just relay want to know if anyone wants a description under tasks?
I started using this function 8 or 9 years ago on the palm, and I cant accept we have made so much progress and yet we are moving backwards.

Task description works if you are putting your tasks into calendar. In regards to tasks not in the calendar, I think they intended for the task name to be its description. You can file a feature request.

How do I put a task in the calendar?
Do you mean use the event as a task?
The task discription is suported in S40 and S60 why not in maemo.
PC suite logs show the task discription is synced.

Already done. You should rename it to say that there are no task descriptions available at all, not just outlook synced ones. That way more people will vote/know about it.

what is sad is i seem to be one of only two people in the world who needs a description field under calendar tasks.
