Hi
have discovered the negatives of always being On-Line. I had a very happy Taiwanese biz friend calling me on Skype as I WAS ON-LINE 6am on Saturday morning.

I know I can change status ( somewhere) but would it not be a good App to be able to schedule when you like to be seen on-line( Skype, Google Talk), in example Monday-Friday (8am to 10pm) Wk-ends & National Holidays (10am-11pm).

or maybe you guys have found another way of dealing with this always on-line issue

thanks,
Yeaah... that I do understand....but would be cool to have an App that you could schedule or sense that you are not active.

Profiles that you are able to schedule would definitely be a great plus. Something similar I used to have on BlackBerry 9520. BTW if you click on the status bar (the battery area) you can tap availability and change that to Busy or Offline.

well I think yes, but I have installed this app only today to check if ok or no. And didn't try it yet

Shouldn't it go to "Idle" or "Away" after awhile? Then no scheduling needed.

My charger for my phone is in the kitchen, deliberately!
So when I'm asleep I can't hear it ring, when I'm away from home I set it to silent (and turn off vibrate) when I go to sleep

Yes, that is one of the alternatives I am suggesting with "sensing actiity", BUT with Skype you can call anybody if status are not "Occupied" or "Off-Line", so just "away" would not help when sleeping.
