Gnuplot for N900 is released in extras-devel.

* Home site: http://gnuplot.info/
* Maemo port: https://garage.maemo.org/projects/gnuplot/

Video presentation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxlgeGrE4D8

It is possible to manage graphs (including 3D) using your fingers! Gnuplot was never so impressive!

It is now in extras-devel. Help me to push it to extras, pls.

Does anybody know how to promote it to extras-testing?

http://wiki.maemo.org/Extras-testing...extras-testing tells:

Developers upload their software to Extras-devel, the unstable repository. extras-devel is where anything can break and where no end users are expected unless they know perfectly well what they are doing. When the developer of an application thinks that it's ready for the masses, he or she promotes it to extras-testing.
But it does not tell what actions developer shall execute in order to promote the package to extras-testing. Anybody knows?

UPDATE. The package is in the extras-testing queue now.

Pls, increase its karma!

No. It is basically the same. May be with some output formats missed. Test and tell me what you miss.

I have added the following "features" inside:
  • Icons for desktop and application manager
  • Changed the control file so that gnuplot shall be visible in the Application manager under proper section
  • Packages are installed under "/opt" directory as it is required by Maemo

Thanks for porting.

Question; how to make the plot window fullscreen?
This would be usefull. (for example on tap screen)

Bug:
Basically I see a problem when I do set size square, because it's not a square.
