Hi everybody.
I've searched about it and found nothing, so I'm posting it here.

I had my n900 recharging on USB, it was locked (double pressed power button a long time ago), received a call, ended call, all normally.
When I unlocked the phone, the shortcuts was dead, I mean, I clicked and nothing happened, every shortcut. I've gone to menu and everything was working fine at menu. Got back, nothing working. Restarted the device and everything's working fine again.

It happened another day too, but I think I wasn't charging, can't remember exactly, but it was locked and a call was received.

By locked I don't mean password locked, only normal lock from power button.

Anyone knows about it? Bug report?

It happened again
My device was locked by double pressing power button, received a call, talked, hanged up, ok. Then, few minutes later, unlocked with swipe and no shortcuts other than contacts were responding. The menu works fine, but after calling an application, the applications' menu doesn't open.

Again, i've searched for bug entry about it and found nothing.

Anyone experiencing the same?

same here.. using PR1.2.. can some one please help..

hi, same happens here, the desktop freezes up apart from the menu and the edit desktop buttons.Its definately a bug on p.r.1.2 didnt happen before.

how come no one's complaining abt this ? is this due to some conflicting app or something ? n900lover, have you tried reflashing, cos i am considering that option even though i dont want to.. cos this is too frustrating.. i am restarting my phone over and over and the problem keeps kicking in.. randomly

no use in reflashing , same gonna happen, best thing i found to do is:
a) reboot when ever it happens

b) i use three desktops instead of four and not only does it happen less it seems to make the n900 faster.

Id say it happens once every 2 weeks now, but i reboot every 2-3 days anyway.Reboot is a necessary evil with the n900, phone seems to slow down after 3days uptime with me.

just wanna notify.. started off from scratch.. formatted the eMMC and flashed the OS.. so far so good..

you guys still living with the problem or found a solution.. ? just that someone might be helpful with that..
