Anyone else having this problem? Should I uninstall Firefox and Runtime and, ughh, start all over again installing add-ons?

New Mozilla Runtime update out: 1.9.2.1pre-20100123010835

Same result: Firefox won't start.

Firefox is still broken with the latest update! When I try and run it, is just closes immediately. Has anyone else encountered or fixed this issue yet?

Seems like there has been a new Mozilla Runtime update every day for the last few days, none of which restore functionality (for me) to Firefox. I've removed both in the meantime and am waiting it out.

The lack of responses to this thread indicates to me that either few are using Firefox, or few updated the original Mozilla Runtime update that broke Firefox.

Last time this happened to me - a couple of weeks ago - I uninstalled then re-installed Mobile Firefox and it's runtime after which it stopped crashing on startup and began working again (unfortunately I can't say it began working well because Mobile Firefox is, quite honestly, a steaming heap of sh1t).

The latest nightly runtime, 20100125, has just caused my Firefox install to cr@p out again when starting up - of course this is the price to pay when testing nightlies, but for something that is supposed to be a "release candidate" it's still pretty shonky.

I suspect few people are using Firefox on Maemo - and fewer still updating from nightlies - simply because it's rubbish compared with MicroB, and far from ready for prime time.

How do I download firefox for n900? MicroB is good but I'd prefer Firefox.
