Actually, it's more complicated than that...

If I install the Weave add-on and restart Firefox, Weave works flawlessly. But on every subsequent restart, Firefox fails to launch. When I launch Firefox from xterm, it just returns me to the command prompt.

However, if I start Firefox with 'fennec --safe-mode' the browser launches. I can then run Firefox again without safe mode. But the next time I try and launch Firefox, it fails as before.

The bottom line is I have to toggle between regular and safe mode to get Weave to work.

I've tried wiping my profile and reinstalling Fennec. Here's all I have for debug info:

Failed launch:

Nokia-N810-43-7:/root$ fennec
fennec[1527]: GLIB DEBUG ConIc - con_ic_connection_send_event(0x40e03040, ce037a14-b509-45c7-bbf7-7b67579da12e, WLAN_INFRA, 0)

Safe Mode:

Nokia-N810-43-7:/root$ fennec -safe-mode
fennec[1543]: GLIB DEBUG ConIc - con_ic_connection_send_event(0x40d5bb80, ce037a14-b509-45c7-bbf7-7b67579da12e, WLAN_INFRA, 0)

After a launch in safe mode:

Nokia-N810-43-7:/root$ fennec
fennec[1567]: GLIB DEBUG ConIc - con_ic_connection_send_event(0x40d5bb80, ce037a14-b509-45c7-bbf7-7b67579da12e, WLAN_INFRA, 0)
fennec[1567]: GLIB DEBUG ConIc - con_ic_connection_send_event(0x40d63b80, ce037a14-b509-45c7-bbf7-7b67579da12e, WLAN_INFRA, 0)

Is there a Firefox log somewhere? Can I tell it to run in verbose mode or something so I can at least try and figure out what's happening?

(This in on an n810, btw)

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Firefox is slower than most other browsers on this platform, but the ability to use Weave is a huge plus.

I had to remove ALL extensions to get mine working without going to terminal and running --safe-mode.

Still a few glitches to sort out I think.

I installed firefox then weave, restarted. Works just fine

What other addons did you have installed?

Might be worthed to file a bug over at mozilla's bugzilla

I had Weave, FireFound, NearMe. I managed to clear it down and re-install.
Does it really support flash though? I just installed 1.0.0 which I believe should, but youtube says I need to install the plugin.

Sigh!
