Once again, here a little explanation to what I want.

And although I noticed that when I get a call and take my N900 from my pocket, the display is active, hence the call partner profile, while the keypad is not active. Thus it happened to me many times that I inadvertently accepted or rejected the call because I have taken inadvertently removed in a single screen.
Is there an app which the display is visible when an incoming call but also makes the keypad lock is still active. So I just have to accept the keys to unlock the phone call!

Please always warn normal users before sending them to -devel or -testing where they can turn their devices into bricks and blame either Nokia or Linux afterwards. Thanks a lot

I have installed this, but I can't find a way to activate it. Could someone please point me in the right direction, if there is instructions on this somewhere here.

call-locker script does not really work. It locks the screen once if it is unlocked immediately by an incoming call. This works when the device is on the table.

This does not work in the more common case of device in pocket. In this case the device remains locked by the proximity sensor, and is only unlocked later, while it is pulled out of the pocket.

Hi folks,

i've the same problem. Please don't tell me the story about call-locker. This is the wrong solution. I need a locker before i make my decision if i'll have this call or not.

Sorry for the comparison. I'm looking for a solution like the iPhone function. ... A call is comming, my N900 show me the number or phonebook entry. Then I've to slide over my display and after this i can lift up or not.

I'll never exchange my N900 with a iPhone. But this problem that i kill phonecalls when i take my N900 out of the Bag, make me angry.

I can not belive, that a solution is so hart to design. Is there no one who can create a solution for this problem? You'll find a lot of people in the world, which have the same problem. This Topic is still existing!!

Edit:I've reinstall the call-locker ... and i works. I'm not sure if it's a result of this discussion or if i had some other problems after my last installation. Now it works fine.
