Hello all

I'm trying to get the N900 voip client to work with smartvoip.com. I've tried every combination of settings, but couldn't get it to sign in.

Has anyone managed to do it?

As a second question, does the N900 need to register to a voip service (sign in) prior to dialing out a number? Is it possible to sign in only when placing a call?

Hi, i m having the same issue, its not registering smartvoip sip account... .. have u got succeeded yet ???

Try the Localphone.com steps and see if it works. You will need to change the proxy to sip.smartvoip.com

yes it works, i tried and it is very easy and awesome, all thecontacts gets automatically integrated with SIP smart voip, just login with yr smartvoip id @smartvoip.com

i used smartvoip,rynga and jumblou calling card it works awesome very cool sound qualityl
my suername is..shuvoo
surname:shuvoo@sip.smartvoip.com
password:11111
setup like that
