I know it is possible with micro b, but can we select and copy text from a web page in firefox?

swipe finger from the left of the screen (outside of screen), towards right (into the screen). then a cursor field should appear. click on it and a red line will cross it which means that the cursor is locked.

with this cursor you can mark up any text and copy it with CTRL + C or click on the top bar of your browser and click the "Copy"-button.

then you can go anywhere and paste it with CTRL + V or click on top bar and choose "Paste".

He asked about firefox (i.e fennec), not MicroB

I think Mozilla team forgot about the copy and paste functionality lol. This is one of the point Fennec lost to microB.

hey, be nice. s/he was only trying to help.

anyway there is a way but its not pretty. click where you want to start highlighting. then hold shift and click the right arrow key slowly (dont hold it) it should start highlighting. then you can copy as usual with ctrl+c.

Wow great lol how did you find that one out man? It works!! but man it is a pain in the arse to just copying a text lol

Helping is always appreciated, but a snarky remark at the end is not... and will not go unchecked.

Thanks for your knowledge. You are right, it is a bit of a pain, but it works.
