First, I'd like to say that one of the reasons I went with the N900 was because I thought it would be similar to the Android OS. Admittedly, I am not savvy with using terminals and I am spoiled by the App Store and the Andriod Market place.
Here is my "gripe". I want a dictionary "app". Have tried Qstar several times and no love. I want to send MMS? The whole fMMS/fAPN route should be simplified for the end users like me. Is that too much to ask? Also, I know there was a way to shift the "conversations in SMS so that it appeared on different sides of the screen? I don't think it ever left Extras-devl? I toyed with that once and had to re-flash. it was a sad sad day and I have learned my lesson.

Sierra, you are asking for people to get annoyed with you... so please think before you write....

Frals is working very very hard on fmms, and he has more important bugs to fix before he makes it user friendly. Because of this and the bugs, it is not in testing yet (Still in devel).

The more testers he gets the easier his job, but
saying
The whole fMMS/fAPN route should be simplified for the end users like me. Is that too much to ask?
Is just plain ridiculous at the moment if you have been following the FMMS thread at all?

extras devel - Dictionary - Still in testin , that is why it is in dev. Not ready for roll-out yet.
(The phone only came out in December!! - not that easy to learn and develop full applications in your sleep.......

Please just remember.... People design these things for free - which is a different attitude to the app stores....
The phone is brand spanking new, Maemo 5 is brand spanking new..... All other stores started off slow.... so it is better to help then to winge
