You might want to check your link for typos -- you had "cnnom" instead of "com"

Thanks for the article, but I'll believe it when I see it. Until then, I still have my Garmin nuvi 265WT.

This article is linked to an article from january with the following qoute “In later dates we will be increasing the number of support for this [sic] and certainly moving forward it will also support Maemo,” he told reporters.

This is the same comment we have seen in other threads and it only mentions Maemo (not N900).

but we can still hope.

It pays of to follow the sources of such articles. The source of this article is:

http://www.electricpig.co.uk/2010/01...ee-navigation/

which is from January 21st. In this article Nokia executive vice president Anssi Vanjoki is quoted for saying:

“In later dates we will be increasing the number of support for this [sic] and certainly moving forward it will also support Maemo,”

This corfirms that it will come for Maemo (remember this was before the Meego announcement) at some point. It _does not_ say anything about it coming for Maemo 5. It could just as well be for Maemo 6/Meego. And nobody knows if that is goint to be available on the N900 yet.

Maybe it will, maybe it won't, but this doesn't prove anything.
