Hi,

the MADDE tech preview continues. Now instructions are out on how to integrate MADDE in QtCreator.

Follow the post and the wiki page and please let us now what you think about it!

Could you try to go further on the subject with a project containing several files and explains how to resolve this problem "multiple target patterns" while using Qt Creator with MADDE. It packages well on my computer/device but not with the extra-devel assistant.

I had to use scratchbox on Linux to resolve the matter. Would like to be able to keep the windows option with MADDE.

does your configure-stamp in debian/rules look like:

Code:
configure-stamp:
        dh_testdir
        # Add here commands to configure the package.

        qmake
        touch configure-stamp
so that qmake is run during package build.

and do you have files 'configure-stamp' and 'Makefile' removed
when creating the source package (just to be sure) ?

Great Document!

One thing just to mention: mad-developer 1.6.11 depends
on gdb already (which I uploaded to extras-devel too), so the
information about 'Setup debug environment' is outdated.

Hmm, the tip about shutting down GPRS connection is interesting;
there should be no problem having gprs and usb networking
up the same time -- if there is we'd like to know abot the cases.

Now, we just need Qt 4.6 for MADDE support (the "hack" got problems with maemo includes)

What about maemo code completion for qt creator?
Will that ever be integrated into qt creator ?

And will we always need to use ifdef when using qt creator for windows to create maemo apps ?

Now if only Qt Creator would have an simple way of deigning a form for both landscape and portrait mode...

Stay tuned on that. 4.6 is not yet on device, so there are no official development tools for that. And with the code-completion: If you check out the classes for 4.6 for Maemo5 then you will see that the differences between plain Qt and Qt for Maemo are minimal. And for anything, which you will use apart from the plain Qt libraries you will need the ifdefs, if you want to run it in another environment.
