I bought my N900 a few days ago online at the official Nokia store.
I received today and I could not wait to try it, so i turned it on immediately after i unpacked the thing.
Unfortunately, it's just frozen after showing me a big Nokia logo and 10 second of the dots animation.
I thought it just didn't have the power to boot the thing up, so i charged it until it's fully charged, and it still freezes when it gets to the same point.
I tried both the charger and the cable to charge, both give the same result.
I even tried charging the battery with my 5800 and use it on N900, doesn't work.
I tried to use my 5800's battery on N900, doesn't work.

Have you guys encountered this problem or seen this problem?
What should I do?

try removing the battery, plugging into a computer via USB, wait for display to light up, put battery back in...
This sounds like the firnware problem that was sort of fixed in PR1.1 / 2.2009.51.. I bet your device is running PR1.1 or 1.2009.42

If that battery trick works (or alternatively, try enabling R&D mode using flasher) you need to update your firmware asap
