Hi,
Perhaps like me, you check email via Modest several times each day. And perhaps like me, you have several accounts.
If so, perhaps you've noticed how many steps it takes to get from the initial open of Modest to an 'inbox' folder. I've entered the following bug for Maemo5 in the hopes of eliminating those extra steps:
EXACT STEPS LEADING TO PROBLEM:
(Explain in detail what you do (e.g. tap on OK) and what you see (e.g. message
Connection Failed appears))
1. When opened, Modest displays Account List
2. User clicks on desired Account (often Account last viewed)
3. Modest displays Folder List of desired account
4. User clicks on desired Folder (almost always 'Inbox')
5. Modest displays 'Inbox' of selected Account
EXPECTED OUTCOME:
1. When opened, Modest displays folder 'Inbox' of Account last viewed.
-and/or-
2. After Step 2 ("User clicks on desired Account"), Modest display folder
'Inbox' of selected account.
ACTUAL OUTCOME:
Extra steps 2, 3, 4 & 5, as described above, always required, no matter how many times per day user checks email.
REPRODUCIBILITY:
(always, less than 1/10, 5/10, 9/10): ALWAYS
EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED: N/A
If you want to see this prioritized, please vote for this bug!
Thanks,
digittante
