Take an E90, but put maemo on it. *Thats* what I want. Not so much the phone part, but clamshell w/keyb, integrated GPS, pointing stick.

Note to Texrat & co - This is what N900 should be.

So buy an E90 already.

I want a device with a touch screen, so the N800 is -- almost -- what I want. If it had good HWR, a few tweaks to the UI and used its graphics coprocessors (or whatever) to their fullness, it would be perfect.

Probably will, since I already have 770 and N800 - unless it's truly $1000. Lord knows Nokia needs my money more than my kids college fund. Didn't notice no touch screen on E90 but I might give it up for integrated keyboard. xterm and virtual keyboard aren't real smooth at least for me. If it were a N900 with Maemo, integrated GPS, Keyboard and real screen protection instead of sweatsock it'd be nice. No gps unit or BT keyboard to lug around. Of course they *still* don't have usb charging on N90 either.
