Hi, is there any way of making a mod for the FM transmitter so you could use 87.5 frequency, at the moment it only goes down to 88.0.

I think that's outside the legal range for FM Transmitters, also, is that even on radios? Here in Sweden the lowest is 88.0.. I think.

yeah i live in the uk my car radio tunes from 87.5 to 107.9. 87.5 was perfect for my zune fm transmitter as the first radio station began at 88.9

it's perfect on 87.5 on long journeys dont have to retune once

I don't think the radio transmitter chip in the N900 is able to go below 88.0 anyway due to laws and such.

just checked the fm radio on the phone, that can tune to 87.5 to 108.0. does it use the same transmitter chip?
