I did start to port mupen64plus based on the Ari64 work ( arm optimisation ) and Adventus openGLES plugin (gp32x forums), and i'd like to share my progress
So here is a video of mupen64plus running on my n900 (sorry for the crappy quality) :

It currently run at around 10 fps without frameskip and without sound, so it's still need some improvement ( didn't tried with sound yet tought ). I still have the control plugin to write, it's where you can help. I really don't know how i could map all the n64 buttons/joys to the n900 ... any schematics are welcome
Edit : here is a link to an alpha version since a lot of people are asking it :
You need to edit the "mupen64plus.conf" file located in "/home/user/.mupen64plus/" directory and set "Core" parameter to 1.
Sound is working if you enable the jttl plugin, control do not seems to work ( while it work in the configuration dialog, working on it ) and speed is really slow. You can also play with the "gles2n64.conf" file.
