I wonder why when I try to insert a "new event" in calendar, the option "Birthday" it's not available even if in "settings" I can see: Birthdays (Smart, 0 events)...

I think you do it the other way around: You enter the birthday into your contacts and then they appear in the calendar. That's why they are "smart" events.

nath is right. "birthdays" is a read-only view on the birthdates you entered for your contacts. think of it as a live-import from "contacts"; if you want to change its contents, you must change the source (=contacts).

...that's a too smart behaviour for me
I'd liked have a text list invoked by "calendar" unix command.
But not still available on maemo linux version..
