So you want linux on your PC? I would suggest Ubuntu (or Kubuntu which uses KDE desktop environment instead of gnome and I myself like KDE better) since it's very user friendly and based on Debian like Maemo.
You can use Open office instead of MSWord (which can also be used with WINE) and there's lots of CD burning software with nice GUI for linux.

yeah of course, I thanked for this.
I have 4 month experience with maemo 5 on my nokia n900 device and find it very comfortable. Can anybody tell me if I can install the same operating system or any other operating system of maemo on pc, I am not so talented in linux and its terminology and I was unable to find it anywhere. Kindly enclose the downloading links.
Further please tell if all the softwares like MSWord, Nero.....etc, similiar to all these are available for the same operating system.
