hello i just installed canola2 yesterday, its a great media player but i cannot figure how to add new folders to media library, i saw that moving folders into the ones canola have reserved to media library show them in the media library but i want to be able to add folders from ANY location of the phone! not only "audio clips" and "media card" for audio folders, for example...

anyone can help?

Normally Canola2 should show both the internal and external cards if installed, and let you drill down to select folders containing media.

It sounds though like you are suffering from the same bug as me, where Canola only shows the internal card.

I filed a bug for this a couple of weeks ago, and the only solution I have found is to run Canola-cleanup and completely remove Canola and reinstall. An unfortunate side effect of this is that your database is wiped, so you have to reenter Internet Radio, podcasts URLs. Making a copy and restoring it restores the original issue.

I'm now back to using the built in media player, with a nify little app which launches a notification message for a few seconds whenever a new track is started. Which is great when running media player in the background.

I can see both cards but what happens is that I can only see images in the images folder on the internal card.

On the external card I can select folders fine.
