Yesterday i had again some problems with my N900. So i decided to reflash it. Flashed the same way as before. But now something went wrong. After reflashing the device boots up. The screen looks normal and after a few seconds it went nearly complete black. that repeats two or three times an then it crashes and reboots.
Sry for my bad english but its a bit rusty . I have postet the problem in german on our site. I hope someone can help me, because my N900 is an american model and i don't have guarantee here in germany.
Thanks for your help

Flash eMMC aswell - backup your data first by switching N900 off and pluggin USB cable into it.

Are you saying you have a device that you can't flash the eMMC on? That shouldn't exist. That would be cause to return the N900 as defective, I think.

I had also the rebootloop after flashing PR1.1.
I tried to reflash the eMMC on 2 computers with Win XP but only under Ubuntu 10.4 the flashtool worked properly with my N900. Give it a try

I couldn't flash the eMMC on my device either - at first - sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Just format the eMMC that should stop if from rebooting
